Farmers Market Update, 7.11.24

Summer’s here, and living is easy. This is due in large part to the steady flow of the World’s best Produce each and every week. While Cherries have gone bye-bye, hot peppers started showing up this week. We saw some Jalapeno’s and some Hot Hungarian Peppers at Beylik Farm. Fresh Ancho and Anaheim’s as well were right next to some lovely lipstick peppers. It’s time to change up those menus and to welcome the heat. Stone fruit is flourishing with our friends at Tenerelli Orchards bringing their first peaches of the season. See Canyon also brought their Blenheim Apricots and some Santa Rosa Plums. The gang’s all here, how would you like to join the party?

Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes!!! Sungold’s, Heirlooms, Blush, Cherry, Green Zebra, Black Brandy, Mixed Boxes, etc.… You name it, we’ll get it! We’re currently stocking the World famous Sungold’s from Munak. Their Melons are also a favorite of my daughters’. Weiser Family Farms is also kicking down the doors with their varieties of melons, from the Piel de Sapo to the Cavaillon or even the Sugar Cube, you really can’t choose a bad one.

We’ve got Plums and Pluots, we’ve got peaches, we’ve got summer squash. There was beautiful okra at both Fresno Evergreen and Her Produce. Do you need some yellow round potatoes? We’ll get em from Weiser for you. Want some Purslane or carrot flowers? We’ll call up our friends at Schaner farms and order you some. Baby Corn and Mouse Melons? McGrath farms is just waiting for your order. Berries from Blue to Golden yearning to be picked, boxed, and brought home by you!!! Fresh beans and Boysenberries from 2 Peas in a Pod Farm will make you reflect positively on your existence! Want some heirloom chicken eggs or honey? Lily’s Eggs is the hookup. With so much more to offer, the market beckons for your attention.

Whatever it may be, we are a simple email away to answer all of your questions. Happy to help and in love with our ability to bring the best to you from our friends at the market. Let us know what you are looking for and we will make it happen. Have a great rest of your day!
