We’ve got lots of different varieties to choose from right now. Holy cow, you wanna hear about berries?! The blackberries we’re getting at Finley farms are huge, juicy and delicious! The raspberries at 2 Peas in a Pod bring a spectrum of different colors (red, yellow, and orange) and the flavor is peak season right now. So many farms are harvesting some truly stunning varieties of basil, including Thai, lemon, and opal. They contribute to the aromatics of walking the market, which is an intoxicating blend of comfort and exploration. With all the wonderful insanity that is stone fruit season, it’s crazy to see the winter squashes showing up at the market. I saw delicata, butternut, and kabocha squashes.
