Our fully equipped flagship warehouse is centrally located near Downtown Los Angeles with secondary warehouses located in San Marcos, City of Industry, Santa Clara and Banning, California as well as Las Vegas, Nevada to expand our service network.
FACILITY FEATURES
Our fully equipped state-of-the-art flagship warehouse is centrally located in Downtown Los Angeles and is the headquarters for 300+ team members. This multi-use 151,000 square foot facility, houses our corporate offices and a fully temperature controlled and monitored warehouse which includes five different temperature zones to store and stage product.
Starting with our refrigerated docks product is received, processed through quality control, picked, staged and loaded onto our temperature controlled fleet of trucks for delivery. We also pump Ozone gas in our storage coolers to sanitize produce and guard against mold and bacteria. To ensure the freshness and integrity of all our inventory, this facility meets the standards of GFSI, CCOF and is HACCP rated.
As part our sustainability initiatives we have applied energy efficiencies by installing, motion-activated LED lights throughout the facility, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) cooling systems in the warehouse, a paper and plastic recycling program, a paperless traceability program, electric vehicle chargers, solar program and green sanitation practices. We plan to ensure we continue our legacy of social responsibility and sustainability in every aspect of our operation.
Our centrally located, Las Vegas facility boasts 17,000 square feet of multi-use warehouse and office space and services all areas in Las Vegas Nevada and parts of Utah. This warehouse meets the highest standards of HACCP and is also a designated center for processing produce.
Our Chef’s Choice Produce warehouse is centrally located to service the greater San Francisco Bay Area, with a 12,000 square foot facility in Santa Clara, just north of San Jose. This warehouse features two temperature zones and is fully equipped to warehouse both refrigerated and frozen goods. As with our other state-of-the-art facilities, we are proud to maintain an excellent rating on each of our annual Food Safety Inspections and are actively working to pursue additional certifications for our operation.
Our Valley Food Services warehouse is in a prime location to provide expedited service to the Coachella Valley and Desert communities. With a nearly 13,000 square foot facility in Banning, north west of Palm Springs, this warehouse features three temperature zones to best receive, store, and ship both refrigerated and frozen goods. As is always our priority, we are actively seeking the highest Food Safety certifications and inspections to ensure every facility we own and operate meets the highest Food Safety and sustainability standards.
D&D Wholesale Distributors allowed us to extend our presence in the Los Angeles market through a new 20,000 square foot facility located in the City of Industry. With 45 trucks and more than 40 delivery specialists, their fleet supports our service of the Southern California market. D&D Wholesale’s facility features a fully temperature controlled and monitored warehouse which includes five coolers, 1 freezer, a temperature controlled warehouse floor and 15 dock doors to store and stage product. To ensure the freshness and integrity of all our inventory, this facility also meets the standards of GFSI and is HACCP rated. D&D prioritizes leading the way in sustainability initiatives and was the first company in California to use 100% zero emission solar electric truck TRUs ahead of the implementation of the 2024 TRU Emission Laws.
DISTINCTIVE AND MODERN FLEET
With a fleet of more than 160 refrigerated trucks and trailers, 47+ dock doors, and more than 200 delivery specialists throughout our six locations – our team works around the clock to ensure that product is received and delivered to our customers on time. Throughout the delivery process, our Dispatch team monitors product temperature and truck GPS to provide accurate route updates and delivery time estimates.
We use advanced delivery and routing software to order our routes by location and delivery window to ensure our trucks are on time, efficient and maintain the cold chain for optimal freshness and quality. With our experienced and passionate team of specialists, we deliver to more than 300 cities throughout California and Las Vegas, to businesses large and small.
