 Tomato
Report:
Round and Roma tomatoes are in good supply in Nogales, while prices are still coming down. Prices continue to advance for cherry and grape tomatoes in both Nogales and Florida. |
 Lettuce
Report: Romaine lettuce is in good supply and price is very good. Greenleaf and Redleaf lettuces are both in good supply and price is a good buy. The Iceberg market is continuing to come down in price. Next week look out for over supply of Romaine and prices to come down.

 Berry
News: Due to the cold weather and rain, Strawberry production is becoming an issue. Production for Blueberries out of Chile is steady. Raspberries are slowing down in production but prices are firm. Blackberries supply has started to decline and prices are starting to rise. |
 Fruit
Report: Apples are in good supply, especially on Braeburn, Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, and Red Delicious. Cantaloupes and Honeydews are still high in price but supply has improved. Due to weather condition and tight supply watermelons are high in price for both seeded and seedless. Pineapple availability is improving, with product coming from Costa Rica, Guatemala and Panama. Bartlett, Bosc, and D’Anjou pears are available right now. Grapefruit has good quality and firm prices. Lemons are in good supply on all sizes. Mexican Hass avocados are in good supply. Kiwi prices are firm for California product. Red Globes from Peru are available, along with Black seedless grapes. |
 Vegetable
Report: Asparagus is in good supply and at a great price. Check out our Asparagus Valentine Special this week. Bunched broccoli and Broccoli Crowns are in good supply. Cauliflower prices are coming down. Carrot supplies are good. Spinach is in tight supply for various shippers, while others have reduced prices to normal levels. Zucchini and yellow squash are in plentiful supply in all areas. Cucumber supplies have increased, however prices remain high. Good supplies on Idaho Potatoes. Green onions are in plentiful supply, along with parsley, leek and snow peas. Prices have eased for bok choy, napa, red cabbage and cilantro. Green kale is in limited supply for various shippers, although we have not seen any significant price increases. Plentiful supplies continue for spring mix, arugula and baby spinach. Quality is excellent.
